Manual Extract: Axle shaft – Replace – Short half shaft bushing

1. Disassemble the reduction gear group and the short half-shaft from the axle beam and remove the seal ring (3) from the axle beam (5).

NOTE: Replace the seal ring (3) if it is damaged.

2. Use a puller and remove the bush (4) from the axle beam (5).

3. Assemble the new bush (4) on the axle beam (5) using the suitable tool and a hammer.

4. Assemble the seal ring (4) to the axle beam (5) and check the correct position of the seal ring after the assembly.
