Manual Extract: Lowering Speed Regulator Valve

To properly adjust the lowering speed regulator valve, attach an implement to the 3 PT.
Hitch and start the tractor. Then proceed as follows.
1. Raise the implement to the full raise position, then lower it by moving the control lever forward.
2. Observe the implement as it is lowered. If the implement drops too fast, and there is danger of breakage or damage, turn the regulator valve (located on the hitch control valve body) clockwise 1/2 turn.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 until the rate of descent is satisfactory. NOTE: Never turn the regulator valve more than 1/2 turn at a time.
4. If the implement lowers too slowly, turn the regulator valve counter-clockwise 1/2 turn at a time.
